If you are a graduate and want to be a primary teacher in government primary school then we would like to inform now central government given exemption to 13 state including UP, Himachal Pradesh, uttaraKhand, MP for appoint of graduate as a assistant teacher posts. More then 1.5 lakh teachers posts are vacant in uttar pradesh. Previously only BTC / B.ed candidates who are TET qualify can apply for Primary teacher posts in government primary school but now 13 states got the approval to appoint graduate candidates for the post of primary teacher. As we know under the mission SSC (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan) total 20 lakh posts created and 12 lakh posts have been recruited but still 7 lakh posts of teacher are vacant. RTE will be effective from 1st April and after the implementing the RTE (Right to Education) only trained graduate who are TET qualified can apply for teacher posts. After conducting Teacher eligibility Test several time many of the trained candidates are not able to qualify teacher eligibility test. Many sate appealed to state government to give the approval to B.ed candidates for appointing primary teacher posts. In these state many candidates are trained but they are not able to TET qualify.
That’s why MHRD decided to give to approval to appoint un trained graduate teacher for the posts of primary teacher who are TET qualified. After appointment of these untrained graduates a special training will be given via distance education. Teacher training will be given by CTE (College of Teachers Education) . Those candidates who got appointment first will be trained post. Now those candidates who are graduate and TET qualified they will be directly appointed for the post of teacher of Government school in 13 state. Hope each state will publish GO in their states regarding this.
