Joint CSIR UGC NET for Jrf and eligibility for lectureship exam I schedule to hold on 23 December 2012 at various centers.
CSIR ugc net question paper will be divided in 3 section name A, B and C. Syllabus and question paper pattern as are follows
Part A will be common for all subjects. Question paper would be related from General Aptitude, logical reasoning, graphical analysis, quantitative comparison, series formation, analytical and numerical ability, puzzles etc.
In part B mostly question will be conventional multiple choice questions MCQ type.
In part C question will be asked from the field of scientific concepts and/or
Application of the scientific concepts.. Nature of question will be analytical type.
Negative marking for wrong questions will be applicable.
Recently CSIR HRDG published the notification regarding Revised Syllabus.
The existing syllabus and revised syllabus for PART A is as under:
Existing Syllabus General Science, Quantitative Reasoning and Analysis and Research Aptitude.
Revised Syllabus for PART A : General Aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative comparison, series formation, puzzles etc.
Number of questions available and to be attempted in this Part A remains the same
i.e. there will be 20 questions and the candidates shall be required to answer any 15
Questions. Each question will be of two marks. The model questions in the revised syllabus are also available here www.JobSlip.in.

Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences will be conducted in morning session of 23 December and Chemical Sciences Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences Engineering Sciences will be conducted in afternoon session of 23rd December 2012. Question paper marks for CSIR NET is 200. Total 3 hour would be given for attempting the questions paper. Question paper booklet will be printed in Hindi and English languages.
