SSC Junior translator in CSOL examination 2012 notification now published. Selection process will be based on the merit of the written exam conducted by ssc and interview test. Their will be two part of junior translator exam. Part 1 will be of written examination which would carry 400 marks and part would be personality test or interviews test which carry 100 marks. In written examination of junior translator their will be consist of two paper. Maximum marks will be 400 marks. Both papers will be conducted on same day.
Paper 1 will consist of Objective Type- Multiple choice questions only. Paper 2 shall be evaluated in respect of only those candidates, who attain the minimum qualifying standard in Paper-I or part thereof as may be fixed at the discretion of the Commission.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions
Paper- I (Objective Type)
(i)General Hindi Number of Questions/Marks 100/100 mark
(ii) General English Number of Questions/Marks 100/100 mark

2 Hours 10 AM to 12 Noon
Paper- II (Conventional Type)
Translation and essay Number of Questions/Marks 200
2 Hours 2 P.M. to 4 P.M.
