The west Bengal joint Entrance Examinations Board which is also knows as WBJEEB. In WB wbjeeb was formed as west Bengal Board of Examination for the Admission to Government Engineering Colleges in the year 1962, born out of a concept of holding a common admission test (West Bengal CET) for the government Engineering colleges and private engineering colleges situate the State of West Bengal. The basic purpose was to select candidates for concern for admission to the State Colleges on the basis of the their rank , their performance in wbjeeb Exam and results of a single competitive examination, which would also lead to saving of time, energy and expenditure on the part of the aspirant in participating at number of entrance tests.

JEM is the Entrance Test for admission to degree level Engineering & Technology / Dairy Technology / Pharrnaey / Architecture / Agricultural Engineering / Medical / Dental, ete.

WBJEE was conducted on 21 April 2012 at various center of west Bengal. WBJEEB will publish WB JEE results on 2nd week of June 2013 on the official website of Results West Bengal JEE Examination.
