There are more than 80 private colleges affiliated with BTEUP that offer courses in group A. Other groups offer programmes in textiles, home science, agriculture, Engineering and others. Duration of that polytechnic diploma course is usually 3 year. There are over 30 trades offered in group A, such as like computer science, IT (information technology), mechanical engineering (ME ), electrical Eng( EE ), electronics, automobile, and civil.
