Central board of secondary education (cbse) conducts CTET (central teacher eligibility test) twice in year for accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act. We know that lowest eligibility criteria and qualification for a person to be eligible for appointment as a primary teacher in classes 1 to 8th in primary school / cbse schools and some other schools.
The Election Commission of India has advised CBSE that the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Jan 2012 scheduled to be held on January 29, 2012 in the states of Manipur, Punjab and Uttarakhand may to be postponed on account of General Election for Legislative Assemblies in these states. Under these circumstances, the CTET January 2012 in the above states is postponed to May 5, 2012 (Saturday)
1st phase of 1st round ctet examination was conducted on 29 January 2012 and 2nd phase of ctet examination was conducted on 5 may 2012. results of ctet jan 2012 has been published and ctet may 2012 results will be published on 26 may 2012. you can check you CTET paper 1 results / Ctet paper 2 results at official website ctet 2012 www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in .
Their was two separate paper in ctet 1st paper for Classes I-V: Primary Stage and 2nd paper for Classes VI-VIII Elementary Stage. Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. 60% marks are necessary for qualifying ctet exam 2012. all the best for you ctet results 2012 of may 2012.
