West Bengal Police Recruitment Board invites application form in prescribe format for the post of constable in west Bengal Police. Vacancy details / advertisement notification   as are follows.
District wise no of vacancy:

• Paschim Medinipore, Bankura, Purulia 700 post
• Darjeeling 300

Reservation will be also applicable as per as government rules and regulation of WB
Pay scale / Salary : 5400-25200, Grade Pay 2600    
Eligibility criteria and education qualification:

• Permanent domiciles of above district
• Only ST candidates can apply
• Age Limit: min 18 max 32 as on 1 jan 2011
• Education: 10 pass

Physical Measurement: Height must have 160 cm for male and female 152 cm
Selection Procedure: Physical measure > Physical Efficiency Test (1600 meters race for m and 400 for f)> written examination
